no specific training rides for interstate per se, but do feel free to join in any of the weekly rides available, especially the sunday morning rides.

definitely will. But am hoping to get more saddle time during saturday/weekdays as well. I live in Section 14 PJ, anyone knows of any cycling route around the area as I am new to this sport.

come join us on our tuesday night rides. it starts off at ksh taman tun and takes us through the penchala link into damansara heights. it's a short ride (about 25km or so) but it's also quite intensive with about 4 very short climbs.
we roll at 8.30pm and we're usually back by 10pm.

a red blinker for the rear will do. to be extra safe, you should get a white front blinker as well. available at most bike stores. also, a helmet is required.

As tryathelete has put it, for interstate, u need to train hill climbs on Tuesday nite and endurance& distance during weekends. Weekend ride are generally about 60 to 80km, which will train you for half the Interstate daily distances.
