I think this is a superb idea. It's only proper if we all give a little background on ourselves. Here goes mine:

Been cycling since the 80's as a kid, with various bikes but had a hiatus for over 20 years. Recently just picked up cycling again with a cheapo MB. A bit lonely cycling the neighborhood alone... so looking for some company, or some bike events, although I'd currently put myself in the 'old and unfit' category.

I'm in Kelana Jaya. Any cyclists near me?
