A very commenable effort to make this ride happened by Kuala Kansar folks. Over 900 participants according to one of the mashals I met on the trail. The trail was not easy yet not to the point that you would curse yourself why you spent your weekend in this god forsaken god knows where to torture yourself. I hope next year I will see it happens again.


Total distance is 40km. From the track profile you can see lots of ups and downs. But in actual I did not feel it except the before the first stage, which was very much like recent PCC Prez Ride first stage.


Booth opened at 6am. I arrived with 30 others from Penang on bus at 6.30am.


First climb of the trail. You can see how jam pack was it.


Crowd eased out after the first climb. Still a lot of riders. One annoying thing happened here too. Someone answered his mobile phone call and stood in the middle of the trail. Didn't he have the courtesy to yield???

Stage three is not too far from here.


Paddy field ride after stage three. Something new. I only saw this kind of ride in one of my weekend rides.


I came to the finish line at 10.30am. The ride started at 7.30am. Not too bad.


My ten year old beat up Diamondback.


Four stages done. Easier than IFR and Prez Ride but still have its own punch.


Caught this bastard when I took off my jersey in the bus. No wonder I felt weak even climbs at stage two were very gradual.
