There are 4 stages and long ways to go. This year route is at least 60 to 70 percent different. So dont expect the same route as last year. Stage one climb is more intense but shorter so the pain and also the frustration of congestion is hopefully shorter. Stage one is basically the reverse of stage 4 last year. So for those who did not ride stage 4 last year you will have the chance to ride it this year. This year toughest stage is stage 2 and 4. Stage 3 is now shorter and easier ( relatively lah at least). In Stage 2 there will be a longish technical decent like last year stage 1 but more technical and tighter so it will be fun for those technical heads. Stage 4 will be long and hot so I once again pace pace pace. This year chicken route/finish route is also somewhat different as we do not need to comeback via the dangerous highway. We will come back from the housing estate back of Kajang perdana near where all your cars are parked.

For those who wants to only ride stage 1 actually the exit of stage one will be somewhere along the chicken loop. If you want to bail after stage 1 and back you will take the old chicken loop back except you dont have to go past the yucky slime at the back of the quarry factory anymore. We prepare a short and nice little loop for you which will see you joining back the chicken loop via the palm plantation next to the quarry factory. From there you will go past the original tunnel but instead of taking the usual left switch back up the highway you turn right into the palm estate which we again prepare a nice sheltered ride back. Enjoy ! Hopefully you will try to do stage 2 as well. Although you have a killer climb early on but you will enjoy a sweet single track technical downhill after that.
