Bash Info
This is the second time BBB playing host to our bash. This year's trail will be very much based on last years's trail as back bone with few additional surprises thrown in. Come and get acquainted with the Pechigro trail. Rest of the trails is set in Ladang Tuan Mee, the palm oil plantations around BTP. A good deal of the trail is plantation tracks which are well maintained, most are nicely covered. The long ride (25km) is fast and flowing with mild ascents and plenty of smooth long downhill sections. The hash crew have prepared a few terraces to reward the more technically inclined rider.
The RV point is a carpark with makan stalls. So, come early to relax and have a roti canai or nasi lemak or plenaty of other assortments of local breakfast.
Bash Directions
Initial routes of choice could be the North South PLUS highway, the Guthrie Corridor Expressway or the North-South Federal trunk road. Find your way to the RAWANG toll. I won't cover that part.
At the RAWANG toll, reset your trip meter.
Shortly after the toll at the traffic lights turn left towards Bandar Tasik Puteri. Those coming via the federal road just proceed ahead.
1.8km : Caltex on the left.
3.2km : Shell on the right.
3.4km : Ignore this right turn sign posted as Bandar Country Homes.
4.5km : Ignore this left turn sign posted as Kundang, Kuang and Tasik Biru.
Road then bends gently to the right.
5.1km : Take the left turn into Bandar Tasik Puteri.
This is a long straight road.
10.7km : Ignore the left turn to the BTP Golf and Country Club.
11.2km : School on the left.
Immediately, turn left after the school. There will be two rows of shop lots called the Medan Puteri Shops.
The RV point is a right turn into an open car park behind the shops.
We will be putting up signages marked KLMBH along the road till the RV point.

Long Ride Sneek Peak:
Once we enter the palm estate, there are sections of steep inclines to test skills on (Jumping is also a possibility for FS bikes), and some uphill terraces that have been cut by Tok Pechiko. Quite challenging but very do able.
Worth trying a few times if unsuccessful at first. This is a technical beauty specially crafted by the DH master himself.
You have to balance well to keep traction to climb up. Very do able for the experienced rider.
Total long ride distance is approx. 25km so bring 3L of water.
Short Ride :
Unlike last year where the long and short was inter-twined with the long, this year's short has a trail of its won. Suitable for children over 10 as the climbs and downhill sections though not steep can get a bit too much for the young ones.
Average riders, teenagers should have no problem riding the trails. May sound easy but don't be deceived by the description.
See the attatched map for detailed directions of how to find the bash site, from the Rawang Toll.
